The TERCONMED project deals with the interaction between Container Terminals and Short Sea Shipping in order to obtain noticeable improvements in both of them. These measures are aimed at getting a greater detour of the road traffic.

The partners of the TERCONMED project are based in strategic positions throughout the Mediterranean, in such a way that almost all the points of origin

and destination for SSS lines are covered. Important container terminals are also based in each of these areas.
